I've been feeling like a bit of a craftin' fraudster of late... so many work in progresses and not nearly enough completed projects, but today I managed to complete some in between housework, grocery shopping and keeping the little one entertained :)
Remember this little sneak peak? It was a scarf & I finally finished it after many nights sitting up till late knitting away & trying hard to keep count of all the cabling :) My first attempt at cables & I think it's pretty darn fine!
Tis a little short, but that's because I only had 2 balls of this particular colour, it is the mint (light blueish) Dashing wool from spotlight. I'm just stoked that I finally finished a knitted garment!!!!
Don't mind the pins - it is currently in the process of being "blocked"

Some scrapping to share :)
Big J has said that he will take a week off work later this year (probably early October) - yes shock - horror... this is the same man who only ever takes 3 weeks off at christmas since starting his own company back in '99 (oh I digress, he did take a week off when I had Miss K, but he did work around it) So after I picked myself up off the floor, I got to thinking of all the things that I will need to take with me and trust me when I say my camera equipment will take up a lot of that space! Anyhow was watching some foxtel the other night and they had a segment on travel journals, so I decided to make my own for our upcoming trip :)
I've only decorated the first page, but I intend to do lots of journalling come October while we explore northern NSW and maybe go as far as Sydney! Any places you can recommend we simply must go to (ALL QUILTING STORE LOCATIONS WELCOME!!!)
