My hubby is usually pretty awesome at buying me Christmas and Birthday presents. How it goes is I send him and email with a list or links to what I want. He buys them, wraps them and I am one happy little camper. Except Craft Books, he draws the line on those and tells me to just order them through the year - he is all kinds of awesome.
Well last Christmas he did good with my emails. It may have had something to do with the fact I bought him his early 40th Birthday present in the shape of a guitar & he felt a little guilt at such an extravagant gift. Or it could be that I was extra good this year. Either way - he pretty much bought me everything I emailed, except a few small things.
A week before Christmas he started feeling he didn't have enough for me so he took himself off shopping and all I knew was I wasn't allowed to see the credit card. I secretly wondered (& hoped) he may have splurged on a new iPad as my gen1 is now discontinued (well no longer updating) but alas it wasn't that as I unwrapped my last gift on Christmas morning.
A black case with a pink ribbon… anything with PINK has got to be AWESOME right?
And AWESOME it was. My very own PINK makita! No longer borrowing his (or his fathers)
My mind is now ticking over of all the great things I could be building with it. I've even gone so far as to write up a list of things around the house that need a little pink drilly attention!
I'd say this is taking my crafting to an all new level! And I for one can't wait to start playing with my new Drill, even if I have already been in trouble for NOT knowing how to insert the drill bits. And for the record… he is NOT allowed to touch MY pink drill!

Lmao! I love. I tried to convince Ashley that I needed pink tools so I could be handy too, but he took a stand (a man stand) and said that all tools, particularly any power tools, would live in the shed, and there is NO PINK ALLOWED in the shed. Lol.
Enjoy your drilling!
